Outdoor Kitchens
A full L-shaped cook station with a built-in gas grill, granite counters, and weather-rated cabinetry. Sited to keep prep close to the dining patio and shielded from the afternoon wind off the foothills.
Patios
A two-tier paver patio with a built-in seating wall, engineered for drainage and graded to handle Front Range freeze-thaw without heaving. Tumbled pavers were chosen to match the home's stone facade.
Fire Pits
A natural-gas fire pit ringed by a flagstone patio and built-in benches, positioned to frame the mountain view. The gas line removes the hassle of hauling wood at altitude.
Fireplaces
A stacked-stone wood-burning fireplace that anchors a covered patio and doubles the usable season into spring and fall. Flanking wood storage and a raised hearth keep the space tidy and functional.
Landscape Design
A pondless waterfall set into terraced planting beds, planted with drought-tolerant perennials that hold up to intense sun and limited summer water. The grade was reworked to pull runoff away from the foundation.
Pergolas
A cedar pergola sized to shade the dining area through the hottest part of the day while keeping the open feel of the backyard. Posts are anchored on poured footings rated for Colorado wind loads.
Lighting
Low-voltage path, step, and uplighting that extends the patio well past sunset and makes the stone steps safe to use after dark. Fixtures are zoned so the family can light just the areas in use.
Artificial Turf
A pet-friendly synthetic turf lawn over a compacted, free-draining base, replacing a patchy slope that never held grass. Stays green through drought restrictions with almost no upkeep.
